Hello friends,

A belated Happy New Year to all of you as 2010 starts to really take off! We're not even through the end of January and already things are getting bigger and better than last year. Our release schedule is filling up fast and we're keeping a steady stream of events planned that will either tickle your brain, warm your heart, move your feet, or any combination of those.
Of course we couldn't do all this without your support, and for that, we humbly thank you. Whether you're a dj that digs our label output, a promoter that's collaborating with us to keep the nightlife hopping, or you hold down the dance floor like it's nobody's business, all of you inspire us to keep taking it to new plateau's.

It's shaping up to be a pretty extreme year in some unfortunate ways as well. We want to take a moment to send our love and support to everyone affected by the Earthquake in Haiti. Already so much of the world has responded and yet it's just the tip of the iceberg. The total cost of this disaster will not be fully known for quite a while.
We encourage everyone to do what they can, no matter how small it may seem. Whether a contribution to a relief organization, volunteering, organizing a benefit event, or even just attending such an event, what's important is that we can see beyond ourselves to help those whose lives have been devastated in a way that many of us can hardly comprehend.

BRYAN ZENTZ - Plus8/Morris Audio

-From playing in bands and being surrounded by a strong musical family (his father still performs), this Virginian has lived a creative youth. From an early love with hip-hop, house music, Devo, Kraftwerk, Inner City, Cabaret Voltaire, Skinny Puppy, Eric B & Rakim, Basic Channel, Rob Hood, and Jeff Mills, his ears are tuned when it comes to hearing an original sound.
Bryan first made his name in electronic music as Barada (the name was taken from a Star Wars character) on Richie Hawtin and John Acquaviva's legendary Definitive label, with now classic releases such as "Medicine Drum" and "Glue". After a string of singles on labels like EXperimental, Bush and Clashbackk among others, the time came for a full length Barada album "Strategies for a Deeper Design" released in 1997 through Definitive and Virgin Canada. Somewhat of a studio workaholic his unrelenting output since then has lead to the release of high quality gems on labels such as Zozan Music, Plus8, Circle, Morris Audio, Primate, Tronic, Electrix and Superbra to name a few.

Hailing from Portland Oregon, his unique sound is universal and reaches beyond genre and age. Nico released his official debut release, "UNSTOPPABLE" featuring KRS ONE and Vaughn Benjamin of "Midnite" in 2007. The album is a playful journey of electro-organic beats and his signature lyrical style.
